"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers hint that there will be a five-year time jump, which will see the return of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) from the dead, Melty reported. In an interview with Miller, the "Legends of Tomorrow" actor shared that the story will pick up five years from where they left off when the show came to an end in 2009.

The "Prison Break" revival will provide explanations as to how Michael was able to make it back to Earth alive and why Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) has already found a new husband.

"Prison Break" Season 5 cast news and updates reveal that Mark Feuerstein has been tapped to play the role of Sara's husband, Scott Ness. Many fans are debating over the possibility that Scott has some sort of hold over Michael's life, as the character is described as a powerful man.

The publication also reported that filming for "Prison Break" Season 5 is about to begin any moment and the scenes will be shot in Vancouver, Canada.

"Prison Break" Season 5 has also tapped Augustus Prew and Rick Yune to play major recurring roles as Whip and Ja, respectively, TVLine reported.

According to the publication, Whip is "funny, crazy and pretty damn sharp" while Ja is a "Korean identity thief whose disheveled appearance belies his genius."

Fox CEO Dana Walden also shared that the "Prison Break" revival will premiere "on an international landscape - it's not a domestic [plot]."
