Among the most anticipated events this year is the unveiling of Apple's next MacBook generation. Many are looking forward to seeing MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016.

New reports suggest that MacBook Pro 2016 will be arriving soon. One thing that triggers these assumptions is the huge discounts being offered for the current model of MacBook Pro.

At the end of February, B&H Photo, an authorized Apple reseller gave the lowest net prices for Apple's current MacBook Pro lineup per Apple Insider. The mid-2015 MacBook Pro model was offered at $320 off while the entry-level 15-inch MacBook Pro was $170 off.

Since the current models are being given away at low prices, many assumed that this is to pave the way for MacBook Pro 2016. But what can we expect from "MacBook Pro 2016?"

There is no doubt that Apple has to upgrade their laptops to catch up with the competition in the market. Other laptop manufacturers including Dell and HP already run their latest computers with Intel's newest processor Skylake.

The rumors suggest that MacBook Pro will also sport Skylake.

Per Laptop Mag, Skylake has a number of power-saving capacities. It is 3- times faster than the older CPU models while its integrated Intel 500 graphic chips are super-fast that it can beat over 80 percent of the other discrete graphics in the market. Overall, Skylake offers better overall performance, faster speed and improved graphics.

According to Christian Today, the Cupertino-based tech giant will do a makeover on the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 aside from its architecture. Per the report, the new laptop will come with improved design and feature.

Per Ecumenical News, there are rumors that MacBook Pro 2016 will arrive with a touch screen feature, USB-C ports and solar powered feature. Moreover, the retina screen for both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro will be upgraded to support 4K resolutions.

Apple is hosting a big event between Mar. 15 and Mar. 21 per BitBag. Many are hoping that the next MacBook Pro will be unveiled at this event. If they will, then MacBook Pro 2016 is arriving in the coming weeks.
