"Suits" Season 6 release date is expected to come out in June if the USA legal drama will follow the air dates of its previous seasons, Carter Matt stated in a report. The publication also debated on the length of Mike's stay in prison.

As seen on the "Suits" Season 5 finale episode, Mike pleaded guilty just when he was about to be acquitted of his crime. The publication noted that setting him free during the Season 6 premiere episode will not do any justice to the drama and sacrifice he made during the finale.

The publication also conducted a poll on this topic, which gathered opinions from fans and viewers of the show. As of writing, 46.15 percent voted that Mike should stay in prison for the first few episodes of "Suits" Season 6 while 23.08 percent felt that Mike should be in prison for at least the first half of the season.

While some voted that Mike should be released from prison during "Suits" Season 6 premiere episode, an earlier interview with showrunner Aaron Korsh proved that Mike will have to stay in prison for quite some time.

"We're working out the season and how long Mike's going to be in prison, but as it currently stands, he's in prison for a while," Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter.

Korsh also told the publication that Mike's stay in prison will have "a few twists and turns," and that "Suits" Season 6 is all about moving forward.
