'The Legend of Zelda' Wii U Release Date, News & Update: Some Feautures May Be Close And Comparable To 'Twilight Princess': Eiji Aonuma Talks About New Game

One of the most highly-acclaimed video games of all time, "The Legend of Zelda," has been a long time running video game and it already has so many installment and yet "The Legend of Zelda" is still one of the best. Numerous people have grown up playing "The Legend of Zelda" so when news was announced that a new "The Legend of Zelda" video game for Wii U was coming out, fans got super excited. The only drawback from the news about "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U is that it has been one of the most elusive titles Nintendo has ever developed.

Not a lot of news is being released by Nintendo surrounding "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U. Although this has disappointed many fans, a lot of them are willing to wait since they know that the wait for "The Legend of Zelda" will be worth it. Now, some hints have been dropped by the creator himself of "The Legend of Zelda" during series called "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Retrospective," wherein Eiji Aonuma dropped some hints about "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U.

In the video, Eiji Aonuma said the he is working on a new "Legend of Zelda." "I'm working on a new 'Legend of Zelda' game now. One thing I've realized as I've been working on it is that a lot of the things I want to do with this new 'Zelda' game are things I thought of while making 'Twilight Princess.," he said. He qualified the statement by saying "I can't talk specifics, but to me, 'Twilight Princess' was a starting point, making it possible to do what I'm doing now."

As to what Eiji Aonuma is hinting at, no one will know, there are so many expansions in the "Twilight Princess" that the gameplay for "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U can be anything. As for the release date of "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U, it has not been announced but it will probably be out later this year.
