'Making A Murderer' Update: Steven Avery's Lawyer Provides Airtight Alibi for Her Client

As the Netflix series "Making A Murderer" continue to make waves, Steve Avery's case left the fans at the edge of their seats. Steven Avery's lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, made an announcement that her new evidence will provide Steven Avery an "airtight alibi" for his case.

According to Yahoo! Finance, Zellener declared that she found the best alibi for Steven Avery in order for him to positively move forward in regards to his trial for Teresa Halbach's murder. Steven Avery's lawyer has been moving aggressively when it comes to helping Avery with his trial.

Steven Avery's lawyer points out the cell phone tower records, wherein it was revealed that Halbach, who was an Auto Trader magazine photographer, was last seen alive in Avery's property. But as the evidence surfaced, they were able to pinpoint that Halbach was still alive after leaving Steven Avery's premises while Avery stayed in the area.

Cell phone records played a major role in Steven Avery's conviction in the past as his calls with Halbach were traced. The evidence may seem prominent, but Steven Avery's lawyer was able to produce a new tower location date that can pave way to Steven Avery's freedom.

Steven Avery's lawyer, Kathleen Zellener, is said to be one of the best lawyers as she specializes on wrongful convictions, per New York Times . Zellener is eager to win Steven Avery's case as she's been taking her toll when it comes to gathering evidence that can undo Steven Avery's conviction. Steven Avery is currently convicted for life sentence without being given a possibility for parole.

Despite the fact that Steven Avery's case is a tough one, Zellener is highly motivated to help him. "We are confident Mr. Avery's conviction will be vacated when we present the new evidence and results of our work to the appropriate court." Kathleen Zellener said during an interview.
