'The Walking Dead' Actress Joins 'Prison Break' Revival: Lori Grimes Approves of 'Richonne'

"The Walking Dead" actress Sarah Wayne Callies will return to TV screens as Sara Tancred with the revival of "Prison Break." "Legends Of Tomorrow" star Dominic Purcell and "The Flash" actor Wentworth Miller are also confirmed for the new "Prison Break."

According to UPI, the "Prison Break" revival will show "The Walking Dead" star Sarah Wayne Callies continuing her life as Dr. Sara Tancred with her child by Wentworth Miller's Michael Scofield. Dominic Purcell reprises his role as Lincoln Burrows.

"In the drama's new chapter, which picks up after Michael's apparent death, Sara has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael's child with her new husband [previously announced guest star Mark Feuerstein from 'Royal Pains,']" the revival's synopsis read. "When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series' biggest escape ever."

"The Walking Dead" fans would point out that this seems to be a recurring theme for Sarah Wayne Callies in her screen roles had Sarah Wayne Callies play Lori Grimes for a few seasons. In "The Walking Dead" Sarah Wayne Callies was married to series lead Rick Grimes played by "Love Actually" actor Andrew Lincoln. Sarah Wayne Callies' tribulations began in "The Walking Dead" when Lori Grimes thought Rick Grimes to be dead and so hooked up with his best friend Shane Walsh played by "The Wolf Of Wall Street" actor Jon Bernthal.

Sarah Wayne Callies left "The Walking Dead" after Lori Grimes died of childbirth. In the meantime, life continued for the remaining characters of "The Walking Dead." Rick Grimes had, in fact, recently hooked up Danai Gurira's Michonne in "The Walking Dead" Season 6.

Movie Pilot reports that Sarah Wayne Callies actually approves of "The Walking Dead" finally putting Rick Grimes and Michonne together. According to Sarah Wayne Callies, Andrew Lincoln considers Rick Grimes to be a shark of sorts in "The Walking Dead." True enough "The Walking Dead" constantly has Rick Grimes on the move and on a quest.

Sarah Wayne Callies admits to not knowing too much about Michonne in "The Walking Dead" other than that Danai Gurira's character is a warrior. Being such, Michonne is then a perfect match for Rick Grimes in the strange and crazy challenges of "The Walking Dead."
