'Street Fighter 5' News & Update: High-Profile Player BigBird Talks About the New Game, Alex Returns on Beta Version

At the recent Cannes Winter Clash 2016, one of the largest fighting game tournaments in Europe, the high-profile player Adel "FA|BigBird" Anouche talked about "Street Fighter 5." FA|BigBird tackled "Street Fighter 5's" characters, the game's changeover and more.

According to Event Hubs, FA|BigBird found it invigorating to have the new "Street Fighter 5" after playing "Street Fighter 4" for eight years. In fact, FA|BigBird explained that a lot of gamers got weary of "Street Fighter" and tried other fighting game titles.

The emergence of "Street Fighter 5" made the original "Street Fighter" gamers back in playing the title and it is quite a big help for the fighting game community. FA|BigBird described that there were four to five players managed to join a number of video game fighting tournaments in the late stages of "Street Fighter 4."

However, with the newly released "Street Fighter 5," FA|BigBird is expecting that the said numbers will bloom. "Street Fighter 5" is still in its early stages and by continuously playing the game, the players' experience will improve.

Meanwhile, fans are now waiting for the upcoming "Street Fighter 5" beta update since it is announced this January. It has been said that "Street Fighter 5" beta version will carry a list of additional characters

Game enthusiasts are expecting the return of "Street Fighter" character, Alex, as they have been requesting to bring back the powerhouse wrestler to "Street Fighter 5" beta version, per Breathecast. "Having made his first appearance in Street Fighter III back in 1997, Alex is a brash grappler whose bold attitude tends to get him in trouble," the Capcom Unity blog wrote.

Alex will come back as the same "powerful grappler" in "Street Fighter 5." Alex can cause a great damage with his Power Bomb ability and strongly elongated limbs that can reach mid-range distances.
