Christian Bale to Watch 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice': Former 'Dark Knight' Actor Says, 'I Think it Looks Great'

In spite of not reprising his role as Batman in the upcoming movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," Christian Bale only has praises for BVS. The former "Dark Knight" said that "Batman v Superman: Dwan of Justice" looks great and he will definitely watch it.

"I think it looks great," Christian Bale said in an interview, per Movie Pilot. In fact, Christian Bale reveals that his son loves to watch "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's" trailers online. Christian Bale, too, said that he believes that the people behind "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" did a good job. "I don't know that I'll go see it in the movie theaters, but I'll certainly see it," Christian Bale added.

However, Christian Bale also expressed his disappointment for not being the star of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Christian Bale thinks that he didn't perfectly played his role as "Batman" in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy from 2005 to 2012, Yahoo! Movies reported.

Christian Bale explained that he didn't reach the expectation he thought he could exert as the Dark Knight. He believed that Christopher Nolan flawlessly did his job, but Christian Bale felt that he "didn't quite nail it."

Hence, Christian Bale is quite jealous of Ben Affleck getting the new Batman role. In another interview with Empire Magazine, Christian Bale says that he is envious that someone else is playing Batman.

Christian Bale discloses that he was stuck for a few minutes staring into nothing when he learned that another actor was going to be Batman. However, Christian Bale admits that he's already 40 years old and the mere fact that he's "jealous" of other stars playing Batman should make him move on.

If things worked out differently for Christian Bale, he could have been the new Batman that fans are going to see in the much-awaited "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." It has been said that Zac Snyder tried to have Christian Bale in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" but not to play the key role.
