'Dunkirk' Cast & Updates: What To Expect in Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk" Starring Harry Styles

The makers of Harry Style's debut film "Dunkirk" dished out a few spoiler details. The film will be shot in the same location as to where there actual British military evacuation took place.

A report from Variety, mentioned that the film will revolve around the story of the British military evacuation on the French city of Dunkirk in 1940. Aside from Harry Styles, other cast members involved in the upcoming film are Tom Hardy, Kenneth Baragh, Jack Lowden, Aneurin Barnard and Mark Rylance. The team will soon start working on the film by May of this year.

Some parts of the movie will be taken from the real life story of the troops. During the British evacuation, 800 boats were able to help more than 335,000 soldiers, who were cut off by the German army.

"We shall fight on beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds," British Prime Minister Winston Churchill told the Parliament. "We shall fight in fields and in the streets; we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender."

Deadline reported that the One Direction member, Harry Styles, won't be taking on a leading role for Christopher Nolan's film. However, this appearance on "Dunkirk" would be Harry Styles' first film project.

According to Variety, Harry Styles will be making his acting and film debut in Christopher Nolan's World War II film "Dunkirk." The film will be produced by Christopher Nolan while his wife Emma Thomas.

In an exclusive report released by Variety last December, the news website released a sneak peek on what the film's format would be. As per the report, it was stated that Harry Styles debut film, "Dunkirk" will be shot by using a combination of Imax 65mm and 65mm large format film. Harry Styles' debut film "Dunkirk" will hit the theaters on July 21, 2017.
