Demi Lovato News: 'Skyscraper' Singer Celebrates Four Years Of Recovery, 'Future Now' Tour With Nick Jonas In Gear

"Skyscraper" singer Demi Lovato has been on a winning streak for four years now. Alcoholism, drug use, self-harm and eating disorder almost got the better of Demi Lovato in the past. The "Let It Go" singer has been generous in sharing learnings throughout her recovery. Even now, Demi Lovato reportedly strives to give inspiration through her story.

According to Perez Hilton, Demi Lovato celebrated the fourth year of her recovery with a message on social media. "This last year I experienced so much life and too much death... But I made it through... Sober. #4Years #GodsWill," Demi Lovato wrote.

Among dependencies that Demi Lovato had to battle are those on cocaine. Demi Lovato initially went into rehab when she was 19 years old. At the darkest point of her life, Demi Lovato did not think she could pull through and change. The accomplishment gave Demi Lovato a sense of positivity, upon which the "Cool Summer" hopes her fans would also cling.

"Most people die but others just go ... She's still out there and the chasm grows ... Steady are the feet in the morning glow. (sic)" Demi Lovato also wrote. While many wonder over the meaning, Demi Lovato may be giving herself a reminder that the threat of falling off is still there. Perseverance, however, can only make the gap between that temptation and Demi Lovato grow bigger.

Besides the challenge of her work, Demi Lovato also has the support of her boyfriend, "From Dusk Till Dawn" star Wilmer Valderrama. The Daily Mail reports that Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have been dating for almost six years now.

At the moment, Demi Lovato is busy with her projects. People reports that these include preparations for a joint tour called "Future Now" between Demi Lovato and good friend Nick Jonas. "Future Now" means taking to the road from June until September for Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.
