'Fifty Shades Darker' Release Date, News & Update: Bella Heathcote Talks About Her Character

Bella Heathcote joins the cast of the "Fifty Shades of Grey's" latest instalment, "Fifty Shades Darker," as the former lover of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). In an interview at The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo's "The Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood" Dinner, Bella Heathcote talks about her character in "Fifty Shades Darker" as the latest addition to the Christian-Grey-Anastasia-Steele film.

Bella Heathcote is quite tensed to be part of "Fifty Shades Darker." The 28-year-old star knows that the original film, "Fifty Shades of Grey," pretty went well in the box office and doing the prequel makes the regular cast more at ease.

"I was worried because it's coming into something that's already established like feeling like the new kid at school, but everyone was really lovely and really welcoming and hilarious," Bella Heathcote told People. Bella Heathcote is surprised that "Fifty Shades Darker" has a good working environment on set and the Australian actress feels good to be part of it.

Moreover, International Business Times added that Bella Heathcote is also worried to work with Christian Grey himself played by Jamie Dornan. However, Bella Heathcote reveals that Jamie Dornan is too far from his character and working with the 33-year-old actor is just easy.

Bella Heathcote describes Jamie Dornan as a "super laid back Irish" man with a surprising "great sense of humor." Hence, Bella Heathcote finds it hard to imagine Jamie Dornan as the sadomasochism lover.

"It's so funny because Jamie, himself, is so not that ... but I get it because he's super handsome," Bella Heathcote said. In an interview with the Guardian in 2015, Jamie Dornan clears that his character as Christian Grey is, indeed, too far from his personality.

Jamie Dornan sees himself as "quite light-hearted" and "pretty easy-going," but the model is always left to do the role of the "sick psychopath bastards." Bella Heathcote also feels lucky to be part of "Fifty Shades Darker" as Leila Williams.

Bella Heathcote's arrival in "Fifty Shades Darker" will try to shake the relationship of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). "Fifty Shades Darker" is set to be released on Feb. 10, 2017.
