'Dark Souls 3' Release Date, News & Game Details: What Fans Can Look Forward To - Everything To Know

"Dark Souls 3" is gearing up for its release next month, but will gamers love the latest installment? Developer FromSoftware has unveiled new photos and videos to reveal the game details and from the looks of it, fans will not be disappointed.

The franchise sticks to what already works as much of the tone and techniques from previous inception remains in the new game, "Dark Souls 3." However, there are also new things to look forward to, such as the addition of new enemy encounters and larger weapons. Attack techniques and game unpredictability have also been improved, per The London Economic.

Players of "Dark Souls 3" will still be able to choose what weapons they can wield or develop their skills in a certain class as with previous games. However, there are new classes for wannabe Thieves and Heralds that should make the game's dynamics more exciting.

A "Dark Souls 3" video demo that was livestreamed to fans showed how the Knight class brutally fought with a boss and there's also another video showing how the Sorcerers class' magic ability has been enhanced. To get an idea of these gameplays, watch the clips below:

"Dark Souls 3" is set to be released in Japan first on March 24, while gamers from the United States and the rest of western hemisphere will be able to enjoy the game when it's released April 12. The "Dark Souls 3" video game can be played on the PS4, Xbox One and PC (for western players). PC gamers will be able to have an enhanced gaming experience as the game will run at 60 frames-per-second.

Steam has pre-orders up for purchase, but for hardcore players raring to get into the action with better strategy, "Dark Souls 3" also released an official guide. It's a 192-page filled account of tricks and secrets that comes bundled with the video game as a Collector's Edition.
