"Grimm" Season 5 isn't doing so well in the ratings, especially since the show's season premiere last Oct. 30, which was the lowest for the show in its history on TV.

According to TV Series Finale, there is a possibility that "Grimm" Season 5 will be the show's last if NBC refuses to renew the series for another season. In the Friday, Mar. 11 episode, the publication noted that the show only received a 0.89 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

A 0.89 rating for "Grimm" Season 5 reduces its odds of being renewed for Season 6. Add this to the fact that even actor David Giuntoli already expressed his thoughts on the show's finale.

While Giuntoli expressed his gratitude for taking part in "Grimm" since its first season on NBC, the actor admitted that if the show gets renewed for Season 6, it may be the end for the series.

"If we get a Season 6, it could very well be our last season, and it will be the first time that the writers would get to write to an ending. If we do, it'll be a very fun ride, with major events," he said.

NBC has yet to make an official announcement on the renewal or cancellation of "Grimm," but fans and viewers should brace themselves for an exciting episode ahead, Zap2It reported.

In the upcoming episode of "Grimm" Season 5 titled "Silence of the Slams," which will air on Friday, Mar. 18, Nick, Monroe and the rest of the gang will try to discover more about the stick they discovered at the Spice Shop.

"Until we find out what it is, we can't have it fall into the wrong hands," Hank tells them.
