Ben Affleck Opens Up About Co-Parenting With Jennifer Garner On The Ellen DeGeneres Show [VIDEO]

Ben Affleck appeared on the recent The Ellen DeGeneres Show opening his heart out regarding the recent breakdown of his marriage to Jennifer Garner. He also talked about their co-parenting status as they raise up their children, amidst their split.

Dressed in his casual top, the Batman actor appeared calm and composed as he goes to explain that they are doing their best to be the parents of their three children - Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, three. "We're goods friends and we're doing our best, and the kids are fabulous and we're working on our best for them."

Ben seemed so happy talking about how much his children love superhero films - and how they are absolutely fixated on the fact that their dad is playing Batman on "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice."

"I haven't done anything that my kids can see for a long time, so I thought that would be kind of cool," says Ben. "My son thinks it's really cool. He came to the set, he saw me, he was a little bit suspicious. He was like, 'Is that the real Superman?' He's four so to him that's the real Superman. When I leave, he's like, 'Dad are you going to the Batcave?'

"So I'm like, 'Yes, I am.' And I know eventually he's going to be in therapy, like, 'He lied! To me, there's no Batcave, he's doing Ellen!'"

Meanwhile, Jen's Vanity Fair interview revealed her side of the story and Ben's affair with their children's nanny. "We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgement? Yes. It's not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives," Jen said.

But in spite all the drama that they were involved with, she still stood by upholding the best interest of her children by agreeing to still be friends with her ex: "The main thing is these kids-and we're completely in line with what we hope for them...You should see their faces when he [Ben] walks through the door and if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you're going to be friends with that person," she added.
