'Clash of Clans' Bowler Update Reviews: Matchmaking And Hero-Based Have Bugs; Supercell Promises To Fix The Issue

Last Monday, Supercell has finally released the anticipated "Clash of Clans" Bowler update. Among the things that "Clash of Clans" players look forward to are the improved matchmaking and new troops. However, just like the update last year, gamers still find some issues in the recent "Clash of Clans" updates.

Last year, when Supercell released the December "Clash of Clans" update, they received a severe backlash from their fans due to looting and personal timer issues. Now that another update is out, the team might hear another round of comments from their gamers.

According to Design&Trend, the recent "Clash of Clans" update did not improve the game's matchmaking process, it makes the process even more difficult instead. Many players commented that they don't find opponents or it takes too long to find one.

On a separate note, the balance tweaks also made the "Clash of Clans" battle unfair. Supercell aims to match each clan with another clan that shares the same standing. Unfortunately, the new "Clash of Clans" algorithm seems to concentrate on the clan's win-loss ratio and not on their structures and strategy.

For instance, one clan claimed that their brand new Town Hall 11 was matched with a fully maxed out Town Hall 11. In such case, the team is a no match to their opponent and had no chance for a victory.

GottaBeMobile added that the recent "Clash of Clans" update also brought back the dreaded "Device not compatible" issue in Google Play. Aside from this, account switching is broken, the base layout editor is crashing the game and more.

Supercell acknoweldged the issue and promise to make fixes soon. "We're aware that some Clans are having difficulties matching. We're looking into it and will resolve the issue as soon as we can!" the team wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, according to AllClash, the team already did some minor hotfixes for "Clash of Clans" which includes reverting Healer's heal rate on heroes to normal values, fixing Heroes not triggering traps, matchmaking tweaks to solve long waiting of finding a match and Valkyrie balancing. War replays and notifications on devices are also fixed. They also restore the winning streak value of some clans that were zeroed incorrectly.

What do you think of the recent "Clash of Clans" update? Are you satisfied with the fixes? Share your thoughts below.
