'Fifty Shades Darker' Release Date, News & Update: EL James' Husband Niall Leonard Clears They Don't Have Red Room of Pain

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy by E.L. James is known for having an erotic concept and unveiling the world of BDSM. As fans wonder if E.L. James is following this practice, her husband, Niall Leonard, who's also the screenwriter of "Fifty Shades Darker," cleared that they don't have a "Red Room of Pain" at their home.

Niall Leonard has been asked with silly questions if he and his wife, E.L. James, have things like the Dungeon and Red Room of Pain in real life. In an interview with The Guardian, Niall Leonard said that people forget that the story of "Fifty Shades of Grey" is fictional and everything is not real.

In fact, according to Fashion & Style, E.L. James and Niall Leonard still live a simple life in spite of the success of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Niall Leonard revealed that their lifestyle still revolves around minimal things like walking the dog, feeding and fetching their kids, worrying about exam results and their next novel.

The only thing luxurious E.L. James and Niall Leonard did is upgrading their old Honda car with a "big shiny" Volkswagen when "Fifty Shades of Grey" becomes the New York Times Bestseller. "Although now the door has fallen off the oven we may refit our tatty kitchen sooner rather than later," Niall Leonard joked.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that "Fifty Shades Darker" is facing some trouble before it starts it production, Cross Map reports. The outlet said that Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) are having a hard time to relive their "onscreen romance" that they first showed in "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Also, the team behind "Fifty Shades Darker" might encounter another problem as Jamie Dornan finds it hard to concentrate to be the sadist lover boy because of his newborn baby. However, "Fifty Shades Darker" will definitely be seen in theaters in February 2017. It was reported that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson has already shares their on-screen steamy kiss.
