Harry Styles News: 1D Singer Struggling To Bag Major Film Roles, Only Good For Cameo?

Harry Styles is eyeing to have an acting career and be a big shot in the movie industry to achieve Hollywood stardom. However, the former One Direction singer is having a hard time to penetrate Hollywood with only offers for cameo roles.

"Harry wants to break into Hollywood, but it's proving to be a struggle," a source told Heat magazine via Independent. The source added that Harry Styles has "silly bit parts and cameos" offers, but this is not what the One Direction singer wants.

Evidently, Harry Styles is struggling to have a major role that will mark his arrival to Hollywood as a serious actor. IBTimes reports that Harry Styles has an offer from Harvey Weinstein to join his movie, "Tulip Fever," but the 22-year-old star rejected the offer.

However, Harvey Weinstein praised Harry Styles for being "super-charismatic" and having that "movie star" aura. "We offered him a part and he couldn't do the movie because he had the tour," Harvey Weinstein explained.

Harry Styles, then, has a new role for Christopher Nolan's directorial movie, "Dunkirk." But, Harry Styles still doesn't have the "right role" that he is aiming. Deadline adds that Harry Styles' character in the upcoming film of Christopher Nolan, "Dunkirk," is not actually a leading role.

Moreover, Stuff notes that Harry Styles is having a hard time to bag a major movie role because he doesn't have a formal acting education. In fact, Harry Styles, allegedly, declines to have acting training as he believes that what he knows in performing in front of the camera is enough to give him the right roles.

The source added that in spite of not having the right acting classes, Harry Style can still start his acting career. The source also explained that Harry Styles has been in front of the camera for quite awhile and his media training and music video acting will suffice.
