‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Release Date, News & Update: Jamie Dornan To Be Replaced? Actor Has Something To Say

Rumors surrounding "Fifty Shades Darker" stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson's lack of chemistry strikes again. But this time, there are hearsays that Jamie Dornan might be replaced as he's having a hard time to live up as Christian Grey.

It has been said that Jamie Dornan is torn between being away from his newborn child and family and his "Fifty Shades Darker" responsibilities. "Fifty Shades Darker" location shoot is in Vancouver while Jamie Dornan's wife, Amelia Warner, and two kids are in London.

As a result to Jamie Dornan's struggle, "Fifty Shades Darker" producers, too, are quite afraid that the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel's release might be delayed. According to Enstarz, if Christian Grey's actor needs to be changed, the new star and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) have to film the scenes again from the start.

Ecumenical News notes that Jamie Dornan's problem is already affecting Dakota Johnson and the "Fifty Shades Darker" production. Fashion & Style added that even "Fifty Shades Darker" James Foley is disturbed about the "lackluster chemistry" of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

However, Morning Ledger said that Jamie Dornan has something to say about the issue. Jamie Dornan explained that people behind the film will not continue filming "Fifty Shades Darker" with him and Dakota Johnson if the "lackluster chemistry problem" is real.

"You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn't have cast us," Jamie Dornan clarified. Meanwhile, in an interview with People, Bella Heathcote (Leila Williams) expressed she's terrified as a new star to join "Fifty Shades Darker."

"I was worried because it's coming into something that's already established like feeling like the new kid at school," Bella Heathcote said. However, Bella Heathcote is now having a great time on-set and doesn't feel out of place.
