Jack Osbourne 'Protecting' his Daughter from Gifts

TV personality Jack Osbourne is worried about his infant daughter Pearl Clementine getting spoilt by his fans and well-wishers' expression of affection through presents.

"Everyone does [spoil her]," Osbourne, told the People magazine. "We've had to respectfully decline any more gifts."

Little Pearl, born April 24 is Osbourne's first child with wife Lisa Stelly.

"We haven't gotten anything too crazy," he said. "There have just been lots of clothes and toys. Not really too outrageous for a baby."

The proud father, who used to frequently update his Twitter followers with his cute daughter's photos, is enjoying fatherhood in its actual spirit.

"It's a lot of fun. The best part about it is there's something new every day. Babies grow so much when they're this age. They're constantly changing," he said. "You'll go to bed one night and wake up the next morning and you'll learn something new. That's the exciting part."

Apart from that, Osbourne who strengthened his relationship with his daughter's mom Stelly recently is very happy about her role as a mother.

"Lisa's the best," he said. "She's like Supermom 5,000."

Osbourne is well known for his role in MTV's reality show "The Osbournes" between 2003 and 2005. He has also presented shows such as "Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie" and "Saving Planet Earth" of BBC in 2007.

Like Osbourne, earlier in June musical legend Elton John, parent of Zachary (2) also expressed his concern about receiving too many gifts from fans.

"You know what? At Christmas we bought him a swing for the garden and a little slide, and this was his Christmas present and his birthday present from us," John told The Guardian. "But he had so many presents from other people throughout the world, which is touching, but we actually found it obscene. I said, 'This is shocking. It's four hours we've been opening these presents."
