‘Deadpool’ News & Updates: ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Rises Over Deadpool; Marvel and DC Comics at War?

It appears that the R-rated movie "Deadpool" has been rumored to lose the limelight to "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Also, there are rising notions that the next sequel would bring forth new twists and enthralling storylines.

In a post from Movie Pilot, it was mentioned that "Deadpool" gained more than $800 million on the box office, on top of that, it was one making it the highest grossing R-rated film ever that Marvel and the movie industry has seen.

It stands to reason that the movie was able to bring about a new era of film showing and unpredictable scenes. With its unique blend of storylines and characters, "Deadpool" broke another terrifying record of revenues and returns.

Although there were notions that "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" might surpass the R-rated movie. It was never fully affirmed. According to a report from Deadline, "Warner Bros' DC superhero face-off grossed $85.1M on 28K screens in 67 territories for an international total of $421.4M."

Despite the success of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill's movie, it was not able to surpass the breadth and magnitude presence of "Deadpool." The varying storyline, the whole plotline and synopsis of Ryan Reynold's movie was somewhat strikingly exceptional and distinctive to the core.

It goes without saying that the battle for supremacy in the box office is pushing movie producers to create stunning scenes and unpredictable plotlines. To prove the latter, as "Deadpool" go head to head with "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the higher the revenues and returns, the higher probability to dominate the world of movies and the box office.

Despite the success that  "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" gained in the box office, it was not able to counter and overpower "Deadpool." It remains to be seen on whether Marvel and DC Comics would go far and wide to gain the glory, the fame and the box office hits.
