'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Air Date, Cast, News & Update: Major Character Set To Die?

Although "Attack on Titan" season 2 is still months away from its expected premiere, the rumor mills are already on overdrive when it comes to the events that will take place in the new season.

According to Day Herald, Levi Ackerman will bite the dust in this season. One of the main characters of "Attack on Titan," Levi will allegedly be killed in action, specifically when he goes to save Eren, Armin and Mikasa.

Levi is a fan-favorite "Attack on Titan" protagonist. It is certainly hard to imagine seeing him bite the dust but if he is indeed bound to go, he leaves a heroic legacy that "Attack on Titan" fans would never forget.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 spoilers also indicate that the new season will put the spotlight on humans with the ability to transform into Titans.

According to Crossmap, the Reiss family's secret about them being Titan shifters will be covered in "Attack on Titan" season 2 under a plotline involving an individual posing as the king, who Commander Erwin Smith will overthrow.

Other Titan shifters whose secrets are expected to be revealed in "Attack on Titan" season 2 are Reiner Braun and Bertolt, who happen to be the fearsome and terrifying Armored Titan and Colossal Titan respectively.

Eren and Ymir are also two known soldiers who are able to transform into Titans in "Attack on Titan." In fact, it has been teased for multiple times that the latter will even play a major part in the explanation regarding the Titans' origins and their connection with the humans in "Attack on Titan" season 2.

In other news, production for "Attack on Titan" season 2 was allegedly postponed. The studio behind the anime series plans to start when the original "Attack on Titan" manga is already four arcs ahead.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 is expected to premiere later this year.
