Inquisitr reported that there are speculations that season 11 would be "Criminal Minds" last. The show reportedly failed to make it for a season 12 renewal. The said rumors started after Moore's exit in the show.

Is "Criminal Minds" doomed? Will CBS axe the show?

Well, it seems that "Criminal Minds" will still be staying longer. In fact, Frances Fisher will appear in the upcoming episode of "Criminal Minds" where she will play as a crazy UnSub. Also, Paget Brewster is set to return in "Criminal Minds." If the show is about to be axed, then there's no need to invest in new and returning characters.

In addition, "Criminal Minds" executive producer Erica Messer revealed that they are planning to do big things after Shemar Moore's exit. "We really wanted to do something big after Shemar [Moore] left," she told TVLine.

Parent Herald previously reported about a potential new agent in "Criminal Minds" season 12. Per Messer, "It [introducing a new BAU member] feels like something that would be natural to do in a premiere, just as we did for almost everybody else who has ever come in."

Meanwhile, Lawyer Herald reported that the "Criminal Minds" penultimate episode would air next week. "Criminal Mind" season 11 episode 20 titled "Inner Beauty" will feature the BAU searching for an UnSub who purposely disfigure victims.

Here's the plot synopsis per Spoilers Guide, "The BAU searches for an UnSub who is purposely disfiguring victims. Also, Rossi has an awkward reunion with his ex-wife, Hayden Montgomery, who kept his daughter, Joy, a secret from him for nearly 30 years." Sheryl Lee Ralph will be a guest star and she will play as Rossi's ex-wife, Hayden Montgomery.
