It’s a Baby Girl for Gail Simmons!

Celebrity chef Gail Simmons and husband Jeremy Abrams became proud parents of a baby girl, Sunday.

Gail and Jeremy welcomed their baby daughter Dahlia Rae Abramson December 29. "Dahlia weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz.," Gail's rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE. "Mother, father and baby are doing wonderfully," he added.

The 37-year-old Top Chef judge announced her pregnancy in July 2013. Since then, she said that her pregnancy cravings were nothing but peanut butter and popsicles.  "I had a lot of cravings for popsicles and peanut butter ... not together. All I wanted for breakfast was peanut butter jelly sandwiches and all I wanted in the afternoon was a popsicle because it was 100 degrees," she said.

The couple, who married in 2008, decided that they will not find out the sex of the baby and will rather wait for the arrivak their little one. "We'd like it to be a surprise," she told PEOPLE in September. "We have some of the nursery done, but we're going to wait until [we find out] who this little nugget is."

The culinary queen also revealed how much she enjoyed her pregnancy.  "I had a really lovely  day. I had breakfast on my terrace with a bunch of friends. I always make sure to eat a hearty breakfast, especially these days, but in general because you don't eat again until 8 o' clock at night," she said. "So the five of us just sat on the terrace and had a leisurely morning."
