'Kingdom Hearts 3' News & Update: Axel Voice Actor Frustrated About Production? Has Not Started Recording Yet

There is no doubt that many are looking forward to the next installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" series. However, Square Enix is keeping things about "Kingdom Hearts 3" under wraps, which dismay fans and one voice actor.

According to Design & Trend, one of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" voice actors has revealed that he has not started recording yet. Quinton Flynn, the voice behind Axel posted a cryptic message on his social media, which suggests that he has not worked on "Kingdom Hearts 3" yet.

"Speaking of Axel, when is the new Kingdom Hearts going into production? Step it up. Quinton needs to pay his bills!" Quinton Flynn posted.

One of his followers confronted him if he meant that he had not done any work for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at all. "@quintonflynn Wait, is this to say you didn't do any work for Kingdom Hearts 3?" which he confirmed with an affirmative response. "Correct. Not yet," he replied.

Does this suggest that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still far away? Latinos Health previously reported that the title is pushed back to 2017. However, we can't really tell when it will be out. Parent Herald previously reported that another voice actor teases about his possible involvement in "KH3."

Steve Burton, who voiced Cloud and Sephiroth in the franchise, hinted earlier that he would be working on "Kingdom Hearts 3" when a fan asked him. "@1SteveBurton have you done any voice acting for kingdom hearts 3 by any chance?"

His answer gave hope to "Kingdom Hearts" fan that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is in progress. "Doing something in a few weeks! I'll let you know." Bill Former also teases that Pete is returning in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Per Design & Trend, one fan theory suggests that maybe Square Enix is working with the supporting roles first. Cloud and Pete are not considered as main characters in the "Kingdom Hearts 3" franchise. If this theory is true, then soon Quinton Flynn will record for Axel.
