Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have hit romance headlines once again. The "Outlander" star were spotted very cozy on the red carpet of the STARZ drama's season two premiere at the Museum of Natural History, New York City, on Monday.

Celeb Dirty Laundry shared that Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan were all smile when they graced the red carpet of the "Outlander" Season 2 premiere. Wearing a stunning strapless white gown designed with golden crystals in floral pattern by Jonathan Simkhai, Caitriona Balfe appeared very comfortable with Sam Heughan when they posed for photos with arms around each other.

Sam Heughan, on the other hand, sported a notch lapel suit with under shirt, tied all by Ermenegildo Zegna. The "Outlander" actor complete his ensemble with a Georg Jensen watch and a Louis Leeman shoes.

Aside from Catriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, Tobias Menzies and executive producer Ronald D. More were also sighted during the event, Just Jared shared. The "Outlander" Season 2 is set to premiere on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have been hitting the romance headlines when fans noticed their chemistry on and off cam.  While the "Outlander" stars have kept their relationship as friends, people around them have observed something romantic between them.

As a matter of fact, a member of the "Outlander" production team has revealed that Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are very sweet on the set. "Sam and Caitriona were taking a short break between scenes when I saw them off to the side, holding hands and Sam was even whispering in her ear," an unnamed source stated. "She was laughing at whatever he said and well, they looked like an ordinary couple."

Despite this, Caitriona Balfe claimed that she and Sam Heughan are nothing but friends. "We're not together. I'm sorry to break people's hearts," the "Outlander" actress told E! Online. "They like to try to maybe replicate the Claire and Jamie story. But I think it would be difficult for us to work together and be together."
