'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' Trailer, Spoilers, News & Update: Film Will Be Fun Just Like The First Movie

Captain Jack Sparrow, the witty and funny protagonist of "Pirate of the Caribbean" is set to return to the big screens next year. New reports suggest that "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will be filled with fun and laughter.

Geoffrey Rush, "Pirates of the Caribbean's" villainous Captain Barbarossa teases juicy details about "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" that will surely excite fans about the upcoming film.

According to Rush, he has been working with Johnny Depp for "Pirates of the Caribbean" and they have done five films together. Few people join them, but the majority of the crew were more or less the same team.

When asked what the different of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" with the earlier iterations, Rush revealed that the film has a huge budget and that they will be taking it back to comedy.

"This is a $250 million movie and there are twelve ships in it. I enjoyed their approach," Rush told Variety. "They were in high school when the first film came out and they said, 'we want to take it back to that comedy, that adventure, that swashbuckling.' It was nice having some fresh eyes and a Scandi-indie feel."

Meanwhile, Kaya Scodelario teases that "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will feature the same feels of the first film. "It [does have] a lot more of the first movie, that's what they wanted to bring it back to," she told DigitalSpy.

Kaya Scodelario explained that the producers wanted to take "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" into the beginning again for an epic journey that will make things and tie things up. From there new storylines will be produced.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will hit the big screens on May 26, 2017.
