Jennifer Lawrence, New James Bond? 'X-Men' Star Eyed As Female 007 Betty Pack

James Bond may find a female version in "X-Men" star Jennifer Lawrence, who is being eyed to play Betty Pack. Jennifer Lawrence has been named as a candidate to portray the true-to-life female 007 Betty Pack, a World War 2 heroine, whose daring espionage was key in the war.

Page Six reports that Jennifer Lawrence will find some big shoes to fill if she portrays Betty Pack. The heroine Jennifer Lawrence will bring back to life was likened to James Bond by Time magazine in Betty Pack's obituary.

The magazine reportedly said that Betty Pack had been as adept with using the bedroom as James Bond is with a gun on a mission. Many a man paid a worthy price to be with Betty Pack.

Needless to say, fans will see Jennifer Lawrence playing up womanly smarts and wiles as told in the Betty Pack biography by Howard Blum, "The Last Goodnight." Page Six points out that the book title is a CIA tenet inculcated in new agents.

"The last person to whom you say good night is the most dangerous," the CIA taught. Sony is yet to make the final decision on whether or not Jennifer Lawrence will play the femme fatale. A few other actresses, albeit undisclosed, are in the race with Jennifer Lawrence to personify Betty Pack.

Maxim remarks that Jennifer Lawrence would be a shoo-in given her experience in as an action-packed heroine in "Hunger Games" and the "X-Men" films. Her recent success in "Joy" would also enable Jennifer Lawrence to give depth in her version of Betty Pack.

According to Life & Style, "Steve Jobs" producer Mark Gordon will stay on top of the Betty Pack film. Expertise from Mark Gordon, and hopefully star power from Jennifer Lawrence, would bring justice to the six-figure sum Sony paid to give James Bond a run for the money and create the Betty Pack film.
