"Girl Meets World" Season 3 spoilers reveal that the upcoming episodes will finally give resolution to the love triangle between Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Mayer). In an interview with series creator Michael Jacobs, it was revealed that this particular storyline is more than just a love triangle.

"Not as primary focus, but always as an underlying thing in existence for the characters," he told TheWrap.

The showrunner also told the publication that "Girl Meets World" Season 3 will brush up on heavier and more mature subjects, as the characters enter the world of high school. This may include the natural progress in relationships such as exploring what comes next after the love triangle gets resolved.

Meanwhile, Ben Savage, who plays the role of Cory in "GMW" shared to his fans and followers on Twitter that he will be directing another episode for Season 3. In the said post, it was revealed that Savage will be directing episode 9 entitled, "Girl Meets The Other Side."

Many fans were excited to see that Savage will be directing another episode in "Girl Meets World" Season 3. A lot of fans took Savage's caption as a hint that Adele will be a guest star in one of the episodes of the Disney series.

Others also expressed their hopes on the Riley-Lucas-Maya triangle in "Girl Meets World" Season 3. While many fans are rooting for Riley and Lucas aka "Rucas," others believed that Riley deserves to be with Farkle aka "Riarkle" more than anyone else.

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 is expected to premiere this spring or in June 2016 on Disney.
