'Final Fantasy IX' News & Update: 2001 'Final Fantasy' Game Finally Available For PC Gaming; 'Final Fantasy' Franchise Coming To An End?

Fans of the "Final Fantasy" game series will be happy to know that the best game installment amongst the "Final Fantasy" video games, "Final Fantasy IX," will be finally released and be available for PC gamers. There have been numerous requests from players of "Final Fantasy IX" to have it in the PC platform over the years, but Square Enix has been extremely busy with their games and additional "Final Fantasy" installments. However, now, "Final Fantasy IX" can be played in PC.

The "Final Fantasy IX" PC version will be available for download and streaming through game's Steam page and Square Enix is happy to announce that "Final Fantasy IX" PC version has been updated with high-definition visuals and a few other new featured for its re-release. Also, Square Enix has announced some details regarding the "Final Fantasy IX" PC Version.

According to the released statements by Square Enix, "Final Fantasy IX" PC version will have seven game boosters, which includes a high speed option and a no encounter mode. The game developers have also added autosaves and high definitions of its CGI movies and character models in "Final Fantasy IX" PC version.

In other news, the latest installment of the "Final Fantasy" game series, "Final Fantasy XV", will be coming on September 30 this year for PlayStation and Xbox One. As of now, there is no news about "Final Fantasy XV" getting a PC version, but it is more likely now that Square Enix has made a PC version of "Final Fantasy IX."

As to more dire news, the game director of the "Final Fantasy" game series, Hajime Tabata revealed that the Final Fantasy franchise was considered a "dying IP that had already peaked". Hajime Tabata expressed that "Final Fantasy" has not seen an increased in fans with the new news about a "Final Fantasy XV."
