'Avengers: Infinity War' Release Date, News & Update: Details Revealed; Part 1 And Part 2 Are Different Films

Next month fans will witness the Avengers in full force as they fight against each other in "Captain America: Civil War." The said film is already packed with superheroes but a bigger and bolder film will follow with 68 unique Marvel characters. "Avengers: Infinity War" is something to look forward to after the "Civil War."

If you love Avengers, here's the latest scoop we have about the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War."

"Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 and Part 2 Are Different Films

For sure, most, if not all, think that the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" will be related because they have the same title. However, this may surprise you because according to co-director Anthony Russo, "Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 and Part 2 are not two parts of a single movie, they are two different films.

"The movies are very, very different from one another. It's not a part one and part two scenarios, necessarily. They're just two different expressions. I think it creates a misconception that we're shooting them at the same time," Anthony Russo said in an interview per Breathecast.

The director hinted that the story for "Avengers: Infinity War" follows the storyline of "The Winter Soldier" and "Civil War." That's how the story arc will move. He also teases that the characters in "Avengers: Infinity War" is triple the number in "Captain America: Civil War."

"Avengers: Infinity War" Will Be Packed With Superheroes

Parent Herald previously reported that "Avengers: Infinity War" will have 68 unique Marvel characters. Of course, the Avengers gang will be there with Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, The Vision and War Machine. For those who missed Thor and The Hulk, the pair will also join the "Infinity War."

Meanwhile, ComicBook.com reported that "Guardians of the Galaxy's" Star-Lord would also join "Avengers: Infinity War." The report springs from Anthony Russo, who mentioned the character when asked who's the character he is excited to work with in "Avengers: Infinity War."

"Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 will hit the big screens on May 4, 2018. Meanwhile, Part 2 will follow on May 3, 2019.
