Blake Lively Snubs Scarlett Johansson’s Revelation Over Failed Marriage With Husband Ryan Reynolds; ‘Gossip Girl’ Alum Unaffected?

Following Scarlett Johansson's revelation over the reason of her failed marriage with ex-husband Ryan Reynolds, many are waiting for the reactions of the "Deadpool" actor and his wife, former "Gossip Girl" star, Blake Lively. However, the couple seemed to be unaffected by "The Avengers" star's admission.

Even though Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively also face the same doubts and tests like every other couple, Johansson's latest jab didn't affect the couple. According to Inquisitr, they are both enjoying successful careers and the opinions of other people seemed unimportant to them.

As a proof of the couple's successes, Ryan Reynolds recently won the Best Comedic Performance for his movie "Deadpool" at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. During his acceptance speech, Reynolds mentioned his wife and even their sex life.

"I'd like to thank Twentieth Century Fox, the Deadpool team, the entire crew up in Vancouver," Reynolds said. "I want to thank my wife -- everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex. Thank you."

Reynold's wife Blake Lively, on the other hand, is also not letting Johansson's comments to get to her. Instead, the "Gossip Girl" alum is busy working on Woody Allen's film, "Café Society," which will be part of the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Lively is also shooting some extra scenes for her upcoming shark thriller movie, "The Shallows." Entertainment Weekly notes that it was Reynolds who inspired his wife to take on the emotionally and physically challenging role.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds' ex-wife Scarlett Johansson's revelation emerged after she opened up about her failed relationships in the May issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Even though the 31-year-old "Captain America: Civil War" actress didn't mention any names, many believed that her confession had something to do with her ill-fated first marriage.

"The logistics of being with another actor are challenging," Scarlett Johansson admitted. "There has to be a real understanding of how you share your time, especially when two people's careers are going at the same rate."

"Or even if one person is more successful than the other, that also proves challenging," continued Scarlett Johansson. "There may be a competitive thing."

Fortunately, Johansson was able to find love again with 34-year-old contemporary art dealer Romain Duriac, whom she married in October 2014. The couple is also proud parents to their 20-month-old daughter, Rose.

Ryan Reynolds, on the other hand, is also happily in love with wife 28-year-old Blake Lively, whom he married in 2012. The couple has their own daughter James and is reportedly expecting their second child. People reveals.
