'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date, News & Update: Rumored Game Map Leaked Online! Shows Numerous Sites Of Other Games

A lot of excitement has been surrounding game developer Rockstar after they announced a possible second "Red Dead Redemption" video game and fans have been ecstatic to hear any news about Rockstar's "Red Dead Redemption 2." Although Rockstar has been keeping mum about the production of "Red Dead Redemption 2," there have been numerous leaks that has happened and one of the most recent one is a map supposedly that of "Red Dead Redemption 2."

The "Red Dead Redemption 2" map was initially uploaded on NeoGAF by a user named Mideon but, soon after, the "Red Dead Redemption 2" map was removed. The removal of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" map was successful but not before it was saved by many other NeoGAF users and soon the image of the map was floating all over the internet.

According to Techradar, a source close to the development of "Red Dead Redemption 2" video game has confirmed that the said map is indeed made for "Red Dead Redemption 2." Techradar also reported that the image of the said "Red Dead Redemption 2" map is a "very recent art direction map."

The image of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" map shows the Great Plains, where the Blackwater area from "Red Dead Redemption," the first installment of the game, was previously located. Also, there have been numerous islands that have been added on the outskirts and might point out to the fact that players may be able to swim or take a boat to these islands in "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Fans also noticed a very interesting feature in the "Red Dead Redemption 2" map, which shows an area called "New Bordeaux." This is the area where the video game "Mafia 3", which was distributed by Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive was set and takes place in 1968.
