"Girl Meets World" Season 3 spoilers from showrunner Michael Jacobs reveal that Uncle Josh (Uriah Shelton) will be playing a major role in the lives of Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and the others in the upcoming season. In an interview with The Wrap, Jacobs said that Josh will make things "more complicated and better."

"Josh will be the center of some of those complications. Josh's inclusion in Season 3 will really be what we wanted to do it Season 2, which is nothing is easy. Nothing in life that is valuable is an easy road," he said.

The showrunner added that Josh will be entering college while Riley, Maya and the others will be entering high school in "Girl Meets World" Season 3. Josh may help them go through the hardships of high school and teach them an important lesson about growing up.

With Josh being the central focus of some of the complications in "GMW" Season 3, Morning Ledger notes on the possibility that Josh may suffer from an accident. According to the publication, Uriah Shelton recently suffered from a motorbike accident and this may be reflected in his character on the Disney Channel series.

Shelton's character had to be removed from "Girl Meets World" midway through Season 2 because of a major accident. Back then, the actor tweeted his fans and said that the accident has made him realize that it is time to grow up.
