Apple Confirmed WWDC 2016: To Unveil New iOS, OS X, Tickets and More!

The much-awaited Apple event has been confirmed by the tech giant and officially announced by Siri to iPhone users on Monday. The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016 will start on June 13 and will end on the 17th at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco, California.

"WWDC 2016 is going to be a landmark event for developers who are coding in Swift, and building apps and products for iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS," Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said. He boasted Apple has four groundbreaking systems and new instinctive "programming language" controlling about 1 billion gadgets worldwide, according to Mac Rumors.

Apple WWDC 2016 Activities

Schiller also welcomed everyone to join the annual event or simply watch WWDC 2016 live stream. The WWDC 2016 also allows the developers to meet more than 1000 Apple's engineers, experience "hands-on labs" with over 100 technical sessions among others.

Moreover, WWDC 2016 is set to unveil new editions of iOS and OS X, which believes to be iOS 10 and OS X 10.12. The event will also make the developers familiar with the latest operating systems to be applied on application developments.

Apple Product Updates

To recall, WWDC 2015 introduced the new Apple Music, Apple Pay in the U.K. and Siri’s update. The event also unveiled the improved Apple Maps and News, as per Apple’s CEO Tim Cook's statement in WWDC 2015, International Business Times reported.

WWDC 2016 typically celebrates Apple developers and software but, as rumors have it, it might be the same event new MacBooks will be unveiled. Apple Insider noted the updates for the Mac Pro and Mac Mini desktops will also be introduced at WWDC 2016.

Tickets For Apple's WWDC 2016

WWDC 2016 is one of the much-awaited events of Apple as many wants to join and witness the annual affair. Hence, Apple will make the tickets available to every developer via a "lottery system," as they will be randomly chosen.

The developers can now register to have their tickets via at WWDC - Apple Developer website that will last until April 22 at 10 a.m. PDT. Ticket winners will be notified on April 25 at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
