Lil Kim pregnant: Rumor reveals baby bump at New York Fashion Week

Lil Kim revealed a little surprise of her own at this year's New York Fashion Week: The 39-year-old rapper is pregnant.

The hip hop artist and model debuted her baby bump in a form-fitting dress that highlighted the diva's especially curvy figure.

Lil Kim was last linked to the boxer Floyd Mayweather, although the father has not been named. The baby will be the music artist's first.

"I'm so excited! I'm a few months along, I can't wait to be a mom!" she told US Weekly.

Lil Kim says she doesn't plan on letting the pregnancy slow her down.

"I'm still going to work," she said. "I'm still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!"

Fans and friends were quick to take to Twitter to express their excitement.

"Awwwww congrats @LilKim on your little one," Tamar Braxton tweeted.

Kim paid tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G. before performing "Lighters Up" at the The Blonds Fashion Week after-party, hosted by MAC Cosmetics at Gilded Lily in New York City.

"I'm a mom, but I can turn it up a little!" she said as she rubbed her belly.

"It's also going to be Biggie's birthday and the anniversary of his death soon so we love you," she said, gesturing to her stomach.

A prodigy of Biggie's, Kim has admitted that recovering from his death has been hard, telling reporters last year that "I'm just now getting over that fact, and it's how many years later."
