"ARK: Survival Evolved" is the much-awaited dino game of Studio Wildcard. Unfortunately, the game publisher is pushing the full release of the game to a much later date.

Despite the initial fears that "ARK: Survival Evolved" will be canceled due to a lawsuit from Trendy Entertainment, the legal battle was fortunately settled for $40 million. However, fans have to wait for a few more months before the full version of the "ARK: Survival Evolved" will be released.

 "Ark's success has increased our content goals and Early Access players have helped us raise our ambitions with their invaluable feedback," Studio Wildcard co-founder Jesse Rapczak said in a statement, as per GameSpot. "When we first announced, we said 70 dinos, now we'll have over 100."

"We never anticipated adding modding, local multiplayer, split screen, or numerous other upcoming features," Rapczak added. "The game at launch will be far more robust than originally conceived, but it takes a little extra time to wrap it all up."

PS4, PC and Xbox One players will get a treat in "ARK: Survival Evolved" through its official mods program. The program will begin with "The Center," a fantasy-themed map arriving in May, Engadget notes.

It will then be followed by the release of "Primitive Plus" mod in the summer. This mod will reportedly force gamers to rely on wood and stone.
