The sixth book of the popular novel series, "A Song of Ice and Fire" remains to be the most anticipated book at the time. Last year, George RR Martin targeted to finish "The Winds of Winter" before "Game of Thrones" season 6. In fact, he cancelled two conventional appearances and turned down some invitation to focus on "TWOW."

"I wish it was out now. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish," he told Entertainment Weekly. Unfortunately, early this year, George RR Martin announced that dreaded news that "The Winds of Winter" fans hate to hear, the book is not yet done and that he is still months away from the finish line.
