'Jurassic World 2' Release Date, News & Update: Previous Teaser Not For The Film; Fans Want The Old Characters Back

The sequel to the blockbuster hit "Jurassic World" is among the most anticipated films for 2017. Last week, an alleged photo for "Jurassic World 2" made headlines, which excite every fan, but according to new reports, it was not for "Jurassic World 2."

Teaser Photo Not For "Jurassic World 2"

Movie News Guide reported that "Jurassic World" dropped an impressive photo that caught the attention of fans, who immediately speculated that it was the first look of "Jurassic World 2." However, "Jurassic World" quickly explained that the tease was not for "Jurassic World 2." This breaks the heart of many "Jurassic World" fans who have been waiting to learn new details about the sequel.

"Sorry for the confusion! The previous tease isn't for #JurassicWorld 2 but something that we're excited to reveal soon. Sorry again" Jurassic World tweeted.

Previous Teaser Not A Poster For "Jurassic World 2"

The controversial post that everyone was talking about featured the title of the movie with some letters hidden behind the leaves. Maxim reported that it was the official poster for "Jurassic World 2." Unfortunately, it is not.

The post did not really spell the word "Jurassic World," which triggered fans to believe that the film will be having a new title. Since it only shows the word "Jurassic" with letters "O" and what appears to be letter "U" after it, there are speculations that the "Jurassic World 2" title would be "Jurassic Outdoors," "Jurassic Outer Space" or "Jurassic Out-house."

Fans Want Original Cast To Appear In "Jurassic World 2"

One Movie Pilot user wants to see Allan Grant, Ian Malcolm and Ellie Sattler in "Jurassic World 2." Per the report, Dr. Grant and Owen (Chris Pratt) share the same interest in raptors. The two characters could meet through Dr. Sattler, who has been exposed to the terrors in "Jurassic Park 2" and "Jurassic Park 3." "Jurassic World 2" will also be more exciting if they bring back Vincent D'Onofrio's character to weaponize the dinosaurs again to add trouble to Owen and Claire (Bryce Dallas-Howard).
