 A month after the "Pokémon Go" field tests started in Japan, Niantic opened up the field test beta for the game in Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately, a gameplay footage has been leaked online.

Through the 9-minute leaked "Pokémon Go" beta gameplay footage, gamers got a better impression of how the game is played. In addition, gamers also saw how a player collects their first wild Pokémon.

Despite the initial plan to reveal more "Pokémon Go" details at GDC in March, the idea was furloughed so that the game developer Niantic Lab could concentrate on the beta tests and launch. But with the leaked "Pokémon Go" video, 3 interesting things were recently revealed.

1. New Monsters Are Not Collected By Fighting In "Pokémon Go."

The leaked "Pokémon Go" beta footage revealed that the new monsters won't be collected through fighting. As an alternative, Pokémon will appear covered on the street and can be captured by striking them with Pokéballs in the right spot.

2. Egg Hatching In "Pokémon Go."

In the video, a player was seen walking around real locations. But what was really interesting was the egg hatching thingy in "Pokémon Go."

3. "Pokémon Go" Features Character Customization.

Aside from Pokémon battling and egg hatching, "Pokémon Go" also features character customization. As seen in the video, character customization include options in avatar's gender, hair and eye color, hairstyles, face type as well as clothing and other accessories such as hats and backpacks.

There are also rumors that the full "Pokémon Go" game will feature more extensive customization. But on a disappointing note, there will be no classic battle moves or sequences in "Pokémon Go."

Meanwhile, the leaked "Pokémon Go" beta footage also include a demonstration of how the gym works, item finding, progressing as a trainer and the Pokédex. Speaking of Pokédex, there are hints that players might collect more than 30 different Pokémon while the monster mystery will allow players to learn more about their strengths and abilities as well as how to train them.
