While Kat Graham's exit in the show will make it possible for Dobrev to return to the show, a recent report claims that the 27-year-old actress may no longer reprise her role as Elena Gilbert.

However, Inquisitr notes on the possibility that Dobrev may refuse to return to "TVD" because she is still feeling bitter over her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. According to the publication, Dobrev was "devastated" when she heard of Somerhalder's baby plans with his wife, Nikki Reed.

Reed recently shared that a baby was surely "in the cards" for her and Somerhalder. Dobrev was reportedly bitter over this news, especially because her refusal to start a family with Somerhalder is what led to their breakup.

A lot of fans are also curious whether the "Delena" reunion may no longer be impossible because of rumors that Reed is threatened by Somerhalder and Dobrev's reunion on set. International Business Times notes that an insider claimed that Reed does not feel threatened at all and is completely happy in her married life.

"The idea of Ian and Nina reuniting on screen for 'The Vampire Diaries' doesn't bother her one bit. She has no issues with this whatsoever," said a source.
