'Half-Life 3' Release Date, News & Updates: Game Release Delayed Again By Another Year; Announcement Coming Next Year?

"Half-Life 3" has been one of the most anticipated games of the past 12 years and its release has already been delayed a couple of times. Unfortunately, the "Half-Life 3" release date for the iconic first-person shooter game series has been delayed once again by another year.

One of the biggest reasons for this unfortunate delay of "Half-Life 3" is the departure of Marc Laidlaw, the News Independent reported. Laidlaw is one of the developers and writers behind the previous "Half-Life" games.

"Announcements regarding the release of Half-Life 3 are likely to be made next year, during one of the bigger gaming events," The Rem shares. The gaming event where the announcement for the new "Half Life" game might take place could be next year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

We are pretty sure that @CallofDuty confirmed that a remastered Call of Duty 4 is coming.

One of the things that fans are anticipating about "Half-Life 3" is the new technological advancements applied to the new game. Some fans believe that the next Half-Life game might even provide gamers with a full Virtual Reality experience.

Although "Half-Life 3" has lost one of its writers in Marc Laidlaw, Valve is still capable of producing a memorable "Half-Life" game as good as the previous ones. It is better for fans to wait a longer time for a quality product than get a rushed production early. Hopefully, fans can at least get the exact "Half-Life 3" release date sooner than later.
