CBS network's hit sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory" is about to reach the end of their 9^th season and it is about to leave fans with a major cliffhanger. The season 9 finale of "The Big Bang Theory" will hit your TV screens on May 12 at 8 p.m. EST.

International Business Times reported that the last episode of "The Big Bang Theory" would finally give a face to Leonard Hofstadter's (Johnny Galecki) dad. Actor Judd Hirsch would play the role in "The Big Bang Theory" episode entitled, "The Convergence-Convergence."

The plot involves Leonard and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) decided to get married again, but this time with the whole family and all their friends are invited. For those who religiously follow the "The Big Bang Theory," you would remember that the on-screen couple eloped in Las Vegas. Now, they want to renew their vows in front of their loved ones.

Speaking of loved ones, Entertainment Weekly said that Leonard's parents would be there. This only means that for the first time in the history of "The Big Bang Theory," Leonard's father would finally have a face.

Leonard's parents were divorced and this episode would involve his dad with another cast of "The Big Bang Theory." Reports are saying that Leonard's father is going to hook up with Sheldon's mom, Mary Cooper, on this new and final episode of "The Big Bang Theory."

As for the other characters, Howard (Simon Helberg) got an email coming from the U.S. Air Force regarding his new project. "The Big Bang Theory" is going to give more interesting scenarios to fans before season 9 ends.
