‘Space Jam 2’ Confirmed; Lebron James Better Than Michael Jordan? Scenes You Can Expect From The Prequel

It is finally confirmed, "Space Jam 2" will be in the works as Justin Lin, "Fast and the Furious" director, signed with Andrew Dodge and Alfredo Botello to co-write the prequel. "Space Jam 2" will be, indeed, starred by LeBron James taking the role of the legendary basketball icon, Michael Jordan.

Rumors about LeBron James replacing Michael Jordan have been swirling for quite awhile now. In fact, some said the pride of Cleveland Cavaliers is a better fit than MJ, according to Sporting News.

LeBron James Acts Better Than Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan looked unnatural when in the original "Space Jam." But give the guy some credits as it is really hard to film with non-existing characters like Looney Toons.

LeBron James, on the other hand, proved himself in the 2015 movie, "Trainwreck," with Amy Schumer. The 31-year-old star's acting skills might be more appreciated in "Space Jam 2."

LeBron James Is More Funny

Michael Jordan still has a mysterious and serious aura; in short he's not the funny guy that can get along naturally with Looney Toons. That's why some said he looked unnatural in "Space Jam."

LeBron James looked more looney and can pretty play along with the "Space Jam" gang. In fact, he is known to have a "playful personality" and the all-around funny guy, which he is not showing when playing.

As LeBron James and Michael Jordan have different characters, fans can expect a major twist and turn of events in 'Space Jam 2." Here are some of the sports and movie aficionados can see in "Space Jam 2."

A Comeback Story

"Space Jam 2" is a comeback story. As LeBron James return to Cleveland, this could be used as the main plot of the follow-up film. The husband of Savannah Brinson goes back to Akron to play up his game and to the city that raised him.

Feature The Original Star

"Space Jam 2" should honor Michael Jordan as it wouldn't have the success it has without the former star player. Also, it would be a good idea if MJ and LeBron James were seen together on the big screen.

All-Stars Appearance

In the original "Space Jam" the likes of Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Larry Johnson and more were seen in the film. In "Space Jam 2" many expect LeBron James can cast more celebrities with the help of the director, Justin Lin.
