Ben Affleck Returns In Solo Batman Movie, Will Go Head To Head Against Legendary Villains

After teaming up with Superman and Wonder Woman in The Dawn of Justice, Batman is going on a solo flight this time with Ben Affleck returning as the caped superhero and director of the film. While fans are happy with the new direction, news that legendary Batman villains will resurface has left them thrilled to bits.

There isn't official word yet from DC authorities but Birth Movies Death dropped the plot bomb that according to its unnamed source who purportedly works with Ben Affleck and DC creative Geoff Johns, the two main men want to make this Batman movie "definitive." To do that, they're bringing back possibly every villain Batman had to combat with since its first offering in 1966.

Theories arise on who and how these villains will be hodgepodged in one movie because certainly even a man like Batman can't face them all. The Inquisitr and The Independent are both foreseeing that Jared Leto as Joker and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn would appear because of their would-be appearances in Suicide Squad that will be shown later this year. Both news firms also echo Birth Movies Death that the villains will most probably have cameos only with one exception as the main enemy of Batman. Could it be Joker, Poison Ivy, Penguin, Two-Face, Bane, The Riddler, Scarecrow or Catwoman?

According to The Independent,  Batman is a character whose villains' identities complete his own. Whoever and how many villains will be in the film would greatly affect the plot that will either make it a success or a flop. Also, it would be a challenge for Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns to topple Chris Nolan or Tim Burton down who has made Batman iconic. Whether how they plan to do that, viewers would have to just wait and see till the film comes out.

Batman has no release date yet and confirmed cast members aside from Ben Affleck. DC fans just hope they are not waiting for rubbish, and that Ben Affleck would deliver. How about you?
