Good news, "Dishonored" fans! Bethesda has recently confirmed that "Dishonored 2" will be officially launched in November. The announcement of the game sequel's release date came several months after developer Arkane Studios disclosed its development at the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

"Dishonored 2" was first unveiled at Bethesda's E3 press conference last year, along with a tentative release window in the spring of 2016. So, as "Dishonored 2" release date has finally announced, here are 5 interesting scoops about Arkane Studios' supernatural thriller and stealth-action game.

1. 'Dishonored 2' Protagonists And Setting

In "Dishonored 2," gamers are allowed to choose between the game's infamous protagonists Corvo Attano or his daughter, Emily Kaldwin, who also possesses unique traversal abilities. Corvo can blink but Emily can shoot out a tendril, wrestle around the environment, use a crossbow and can slay enemies up-close by using a sword.

As for "Dishonored 2" setting, the sequel ditches Dunwall, the first game's location. It takes players to Karnaca, Corvo's birthplace but it is also the source of the "corrupted" Bone Charms that bestowed passive upgrade to players in "The Knife of Dunwall" DLC of "Dishonored."

2. 'Dishonored 2' Plot

"Dishonored 2" plot will reportedly depict the events a decade-and-a-half after Lord Regen's downfall in the original "Dishonored" and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history. A supernatural autocrat has snatched the throne from Empress Emily Kaldwin, leaving the fate of the Isles hang in suspense.

So, Emily or Corvo will travel to Karnaca, a once-alluring coastal city that holds the solution to restore Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, gamers will hunt down their enemies to change the fate of the Empire.

3. Emily's 'Shadow Walk' Skill In 'Dishonored 2'

In addition to the alternate perspective on the "Dishonored 2" plotline, new playable character Emily Kaldwin will bring an armory of exceptional abilities such as her "Shadow Walk" skill. This ability will allow her to transform into a cloud of fog while returning protagonist and Emily's dad Corvo will be earning new stealth-oriented powers throughout the battle.

4. 'Dishonored 2' World Premiere

The world premiere of "Dishonored 2" gameplay will take place during Bethesda's 2016 E3 Showcase in Los Angeles, California on June 12, starting at 7pm PST. The game sequel can also be streamed live around the world on Twitch and YouTube.

5. 'Dishonored 2' Release Date

"Dishonored 2" release date will be on Nov. 11. The game sequel of the supernatural assassination and the 2012 "Game of the Year" will be launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
