Fans of "NCIS" are preparing themselves to say goodbye to Tony DinNozzo. In the latest "NCIS" promo video, Michael Weatherly will have many grabbing the nearest tissue box as he says goodbye to other agents whom he shared sweat and blood for 13 seasons.

Tears Will Flow In The Last Two Episodes

The 1-minute tribute/teaser video shows how other "NCIS" agents regard Tony DiNozzo. Clips from previous "NCIS" seasons were included showing how Tony DiNozzo was the heart and the comic of the TV drama series.

According to Mashable, the exit of Michael Weatherly will be a huge blow to "NCIS." Tony DiNozzo's character was the source of that much-needed smile when things either go wrong or become dead serious.

Michael Weatherly's Replacement

Reports have it that "NCIS" was also trying to look for new blood who will be a good replacement to Michael Weatherly. Well, not all replacements get to capture the hearts and minds of fans as much as Michael Weatherly did. He was so good with his portrayal of Tony DiNozzo, which is also the reason why he was with "NCIS" for 13 seasons.

The "NCIS" teaser goodbye video also stated that Michael Weatherly will do his last two "NCIS" episodes, which will be aired on May 10 and May 17. Fans should watch these two episodes to find out why every member of the "NCIS" team is saying goodbye to Tony DiNozzo.

Why Michael Weatherly Will Exit "NCIS"

Cinema Blend mentioned that Michael Weatherly's exit has something to do with his desire to "branch out professionally." Another reason mentioned was Cote De Pablo's leaving the series.

According to Michael Weatherly, he sees "NCIS" as a huge success, however, he realized that there are other things that he must be doing. It was then that "the wanderlust set in."

Weatherly said that he directed a documentary and he also has a production company. In addition, he wanted to spend time with his family.

Perhaps, Sarah Clarke and Duane Henry, whom the show cast last month, were bound to take the place of Michael Weatherly. Clarke and Henry will be appearing in the last two episodes. Reports also have it that fans may find them in "NCIS Season 14."
