'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 SPOILERS: Kit Harington Confirms New Jon Snow Haircut Is A Man Bun! Is He Leaving The Night's Watch?

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 2 finally gave what fans have been waiting for since last year's finale, but it wasn't just Jon Snow's resurrection. In "Home," Kit Harington's character was finally given that long-awaited Jon Snow haircut that fans once used as proof that the Lord Commander is not yet dead in the HBO show. Now Kit Harington has confirmed that Jon Snow will be sporting a completely new haircut in "Game of Thrones" and could be leaving the Night's Watch in a man bun!

The #HairWatch Is Over

The Kit Harington #HairWatch actually began right after the fifth season finale of "Game of Thrones," and the actor admitted that he got a haircut last year to convince fans that he was leaving the show.

"I wanted to sell [it] a bit more," Harington told Entertainment Weekly. "I know this hairstyle this hair cut is very synonymous with the show."

The "Game of Thrones" actor revealed that he had initially wanted to show the world that he had chopped off Jon Snow's hair. "I wanted to appear with shorter hair straight away so it would sell the lie," Harington said of Jon Snow haircut.

In addition to that, he revealed that Jon Snow will be rocking the man bun in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. "We cut it much shorter for this season, and do a different hairstyle this season and put it up in a bun," Harington shared.

Jon Snow Man Bun Means Goodbye Night's Watch?

The Jon Snow man bun has previously been spotted on the "Game of Thrones" set in Ireland (via Twitter). On set, Kit Harington was also seen wearing a completely different outfit compared to his black Night's Watch threads.

The "Game of Thrones" set photo has fueled speculations that Jon Snow will be leaving the Night's Watch after his resurrection. There are rumors that Jon Snow will be leading the wildlings on a major battle to win back Winterfell from the Boltons.

Will we finally see the Jon Snow man bun in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 3? The third episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 will air on HBO on May 8.
