‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Spinoff Cast, News & Updates: Will Original Mayan Motorcycle Club Members Be Back?

The "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff is starting to have some progress, as Kurt Sutter recently revealed that he is already working on the story for the FX series. While the "SOA" spinoff will focus on the Mayan MC, will the original members of the club be back for the show or will it feature entirely new members?

The "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff may no longer feature the original members of the Mayan motorcycle club. According to ComicBook.com, series creator Kurt Sutter has recently revealed that the spinoff will have to stand on its own without its older characters.

This might mean that the characters that fans loved from the "Sons of Anarchy" TV series may no longer be back for the spinoff. One of the well-loved characters from the show includes Charlie Hunnam as Jax Teller.

According to the publication, Hunnam's appearance in the "SOA" spinoff is still unclear, but his reprisal seems very unlikely to happen. The spinoff is said to focus on the Mayan MC from a Latino perspective and it would seem off if Hunnam is added into the picture.

The "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff is also expected to take place in the future, so Hunnam's appearance in the upcoming show will seem pointless. If, however, the show will be parallel to the original series, then there is still a chance to see Hunnam in the spinoff.

Cinema Blend also reports on the other characters that fans are hoping to see in the "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff include Marcus Alvarez and Nero Padilha. According to the publication, since the spinoff is focused on the Mayan MC, it would make sense to see the President of the Mayan's Oakland Chapter (Alvarez) back in the spinoff.

However, given Sutter's recent statements about the "SOA" spinoff functioning without its original characters, it remains unclear whether Alvarez or the other members will reprise their respective roles in the spinoff.
