Lady Gaga gets puked on at insane swine-themed Texas concert

Lady Gaga was puked on at her theatrical road show at the SXSW music festival Thursday in Austin - on purpose.

The one-hour concert, sponsored by Doritos, kick-started the two-day SXSW concert series, and benefitted the pop superstar's Born This Way Foundation.

Around 2,000 fans crowded into the open-air patio stage of Stubb's BBQ, but not before they did a "Doritos Bold Mission" - like change their Facebook relationship status to something untrue - and posted the act on social media to get a free ticket.

The 27-year-old was in the middle of singing "Swine" from her new album "ARTPOP" when vomit painter Millie Brown intentionally threw up all over her. Brown, whose act was planned for the show, stuck her hands down her throat, causing green liquid to spray the singer.

Gaga carried on, performing the rest of the show without washing it off. Apparently, however, the "Applause" singer hadn't been maintaining hygienic practices all week long.

"I've been having such a good time, I didn't even shower!" she said at the beginning of the show, according to Billboard.

In true Gaga fashion, she was wheeled on stage hog-tied to a large roasting spit, singing her first song "Aura" while spinning. Dressed in a black bikini and fishnet stockings with knee-length blonde dreads, the performer played by her own rules, dousing herself in Lone Star beer before spraying it all over the audience

"She's a trailblazer," Hruby McHugh, 38, a Los Angeles entrepreneur enjoying the show, told USA Today. "I love the theatrics. She has a tremendous creative vision."

Hours before the show, Gaga appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" wearing a dress and matching hat made entirely out of coffee filters. But the controversial dresser said there was a thought process behind the wardrobe.

"I just really wanted to be comfortable for the interview, that's why I wore it, because I'm really fat right now," Gaga told New York Daily News.
