Several fans have been patiently waiting for the upcoming "GTA 6" game. Now, new reports are claiming that Rockstar Games has already been planning to release a larger map that will surpass the map used in "GTA 5" game.

Larger map causes 'GTA 6' game delay

Rumor mills are spreading that the upcoming "GTA 6" game will be having a larger map than what was used in the previous "GTA 5" game. As a matter of fact, Reedit users have been brainstorming as to what the "GTA 6" map should look like.

Countless fans believe that the map in the forthcoming "GTA 6" game will be a combination of the regions that Rockstar Games used in "GTA 3" up to the most-recent "GTA 5" game. As a matter of fact, reports are pointing towards the larger size of the map being the main reason of the "GTA 6" game delay.

Some fans even think that Rockstar Games has been very ambitious in coming up with a larger map that no official release date of the "GTA 6" game has been made public as of yet. While game developers have not confirmed formulating a bigger map for "GTA 6," fans can still recall when former Rockstar Games President Leslie Benzies hinted in 2012 that future "GTA" games could include larger maps that might possibly include some elements from the previous installments.

"Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas, and in that context reimagining Vice City would be very interesting," Leslie Benzies revealed in an interview with  Digital Trends.

Meanwhile, up until now, fans are still clueless as to when should they expect the upcoming "GTA 6" game. Rumor has it that Rockstar Games is waiting for the release of PS5 and Xbox Two before they release the much-anticipated "GTA 6" game.
